Chih Chiu (b. 1990) lives and works in Taipei. He holds a Master’s degree in Innovation
Design Engineering from Royal College of Art and Imperial College London. He previously
worked as a design engineer at Volkswagen Group Future Center Asia and is currently a
part-time lecturer at Shih Chien University.

Chih has received the Next Art Tainan Award and a Jury Special Mention at the 17th Arte
Laguna Prize in Venice. His solo exhibitions include "Preparation Before Sketching"
(2023, Node94, Taipei), and he has participated in group exhibitions at the Bruges
Triennial (Belgium), Natural History Museum Bern (Switzerland), Science Gallery Dublin
(Ireland), and Liljevalchs Art Gallery (Sweden).
Additionally, his works have been featured in media outlets such as The Guardian and BBC
News Chinese, and have been published in several books, including "Un art écologique:
Création plasticienne et anthropocène." His kinetic installation at Taipei Songshan
Cultural and Creative Park engaged with over 140,000 visitors through interactive
participation.
